Area of research:
Epidemiological studies on suicidal behaviour among adolescents based on register- and self-reported data. The focus of my PhD is to describe the extent of suicidal behaviour among adolescents in Denmark, to investigate factors associated with psychiatric help seeking following a suicide attempt, and lastly to identify early life risk factors for suicidal behaviour in youth.
