Research area
Martin Ekholm Michelsen is a student of public health at the University of Copenhagen. His research year focuses primarily on sleep deprivation and sleep quality among children and how it is associated with suicidal thoughts and behavior later in adolescence. It will also be investigated whether symptoms of sleep disorders can also be a significant risk factor. The research is based on self-reported data from The Danish National Birth Cohort and data from Danish registers.
