Nikolaj Kjær Høier
Jeg har primært undersøgt neurologiske og cirkadiske lidelser som søvnforstyrrelser og søvnmedicin og deres effekt på selvmordsrisiko. Jeg har også arbejdet på projekter, der undersøger effekten af migrænelidelser på selvmordrisiko.
Jeg modtog i 2021 prisen ”James Kirk Bernard Foundation for Excellence in the Biological Exploration of Suicide” tildelt af IASR, AFSP og James Kirk Bernard Foundation. Ved Aging and Sleep konferencen i 2020 vandt jeg ”Best Abstract Price”. Mit arbejde har tidligere været sponsoreret af Lundbeckfonden, William Demant Fonden, Knud Højgaards Fond, Direktør Ib Henriksens Fond og Dagmar Marshal Fonden.
