Research interest

I am broadly interested in health technology implemented in the field psychiatry. Developing electronic tools that people find useful is my motivation. I have a particular focus on innovative way of developing and integrating electronic tools, such as mobile phone applications and VR technology, which may be used for support and self-help for people with mental disorders.

In 2014, I developed MYPLAN as a safety plan that is freely available in Danish, Norwegian, and English. It is planned as a self-explanatory tool. MYPLAN is currently being tested in a randomized clinical trial in collaboration with the Danish Suicide Prevention Clinics and DRISP. The project is supported by the Danish Tryg Foundation.
