Rebecca Kjær Andersen

I am doing a research year and writing my thesis at DRISP as part of my master’s degree in medicine. My thesis is on tendencies in calls made to the Danish national suicide hotline, Livslinien.

I have been involved in various research projects doing my medical education, mainly in the fields of neurology and psychiatry. For the last four years I have volunteered as a counsellor on the national suicide hotline. I have experience with emergency psychiatric care through my work as a student doctor in the psychiatric emergency room in Glostrup Hospital.
