Manuel Abella Villena
I have focused my research on psychotic disorders, with particular emphasis on predictors of functional outcomes and long-term trajectories of functioning. I have also taken part in studies examining how resilience, stigma, and trauma shape outcomes in mental health.
My methodological interest has increasingly focused on latent variable mixture modelling. In this line, I have recently shifted my research focus toward suicide prevention, investigating psychosocial latent profiles in children and their subsequent risk of suicidal ideation and behaviour in adolescence.
