I am interested in how rigorous study design and novel analytical methods can deepen our understanding of psychiatric conditions and ultimately inform better clinical decisions.
During my PhD, I pursued both approaches in parallel, combining bibliometric mapping of the scientific literature with register-based pharmacoepidemiological research on the safety and effectiveness of antidepressants.
At DRISP, I am excited to build on this work by identifying the substances most frequently involved in suicide by poisoning, with the aim of informing targeted means restriction measures that could help save lives.
