Liv Mathilde Pampiri
With a master’s degree in Science in Public Health, my focus is on understanding how adverse life cir-cumstances, such as pain, trauma, or exposure to violence, can increase the risk of suicidality later in life. I use both Danish registry data and large population-based studies in my research. As a research year student at DRISP, I participated in a project examining the link between frequent pain in child-hood and suicidality during adolescence.
I am currently employed on a project examining the risk of suicide attempt among individuals who have been victims of police-reported crimes. The aim is to generate new knowledge about the mental health consequences of victimization. I have also worked on mental health among migrants and have several years of experience volunteering at Danish asylum centers. Across my projects, I strive to strengthen prevention efforts and improve mental health among vulnerable groups.
