As part of my previous Master’s thesis collaboration with DRISP, I examined characteristics of individuals who die by suicide without any prior contact with psychiatric services. In this project, I worked with register data and analyzed both sociodemographic and health-related variables, as well as various types of stressful life events. User involvement has also been an important focus in my work, particularly collaborations with people who have lived experience within suicide prevention.

Currently, I am working with interviews conducted with daily users of  Livslinien (the Danish national helpline for suicidality). The aim of this project is to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms that shape the experiences of this group and to explore how Livslinien’s services may be further developed and improved. I am particularly interested in how people’s lived experiences can generate new insights that strengthen the quality of preventive efforts.
